Making Science
Relatable, Trusted,
and Accessible

We connect emerging science content creators with scientists and leading institutions to rebuild public trust in science — one authentic story at a time.

Science Has a Trust Crisis

Public trust in science is under pressure. People don't doubt that science matters — they doubt that scientists understand them. The gap isn't about facts; it's about relatability and communication.

While scientists are overwhelmingly seen as intelligent (89%), only 45% view them as effective communicators. Trust has become decentralized — authority is no longer conferred just to experts, institutions, or traditional news sources. It's dispersed among peers, influencers, and grassroots voices.

The gap isn't between discovery and truth — it's between discovery and the public. That "translation layer" that makes scientific advances transparent and relatable is missing. And that's where new voices can make all the difference.

Bridging the Gap with Authentic Voices

A new generation of science content creators are already making science fun, relatable, and trusted. They just need support, access, and connections to scale their impact.

Amplify

Support emerging science creators with funding, access to leading researchers, and content opportunities that help them level up without changing their voice.

Connect

Bridge creators with scientists and leading institutions through "Creator Connection Days" — lab tours, 1-on-1 meetings, and studio time to create compelling content.

Scale

Build repeatable programs and a community network so the model can grow — from pilot events to a nationwide movement of science storytellers.

Creator Connection Days

We partner with world-class institutions to host immersive visits where creators tour labs, meet researchers, and produce authentic content. Early pilots have already shown this model works — creating joyful experiences that enrich creators' channels and grow their audiences.

The Voices Making Science Contagious

These creators are already reaching millions with imaginative, relatable, and authentic science storytelling. They're the proof that when science meets creativity, trust follows.

There's a Role for Everyone

Whether you're a creator, scientist, institution leader, parent, or donor — you can help make science more trusted and contagious.

Content Creators

You're making science fun, real, and relatable. We want to back you with funding and access to the world's leading scientists and labs — without changing your voice. You bring the creativity, we'll bring the network.

Apply as a Creator

Scientists

You became a scientist to discover truth and improve lives. We can connect you with content creators who translate your work into stories people relate to. It's not about turning you into an influencer — it's about connecting your work to new voices.

Partner with Us

Institutions

Your discoveries deserve to reach the public with clarity, credibility, and cultural relevance. Host a Creator Connection Day and let a new generation of communicators translate your research into stories people trust.

Host an Event

Donors

Science is losing the public's trust. Help us change that by supporting the next generation of science storytellers — creators and influencers who make science more believable and contagious. Together we can rebuild trust where it's been lost.

Support Our Mission

Parents

You want your kids to grow up with good information and real opportunities. From health to technology, science can inspire and give your kids a leg up in life — explained by people they can relate to, in down-to-earth ways.

The Lee Family Initiative

Peter, Susan, and Harrison Lee launched SpeakYourScience because they believe science is at a crossroads of public trust. Effective action is needed to steer society to a future where reason, curiosity, and joy prevail over fear, misinformation, and political posturing.

This isn't about defending science — it's about amplifying creators and influencers who share their personal joy as authentic fans of science. By starting small, iterating rapidly, and learning, the goal is to build programs that deliver positive outcomes for creators, scientists, and institutions in a way that is effective, scalable, and financially sustainable.

The Lee Family are committing their funds and time to pilot these efforts, using their professional and personal networks to facilitate connections between new media voices and traditional science institutions.
